Not to us be glory given.

In NASA’s homage to the Apollo of Greek/Roman mythology the glory goes to man and what man can do. Look at how amazing we are, so clever and industrious and so on. It is clever engineering, mathematics, and physics/archery and so on. But did we really need to go there and were all those animal experiments necessary in the first place.

God who made heaven and earth with all its beauty, wisdom and function and who gave us our intelligence reveals that earth is our intended custom built residence and the moon humbly serves us in the light of Gods providence and power, a miraculous fluke of nature? No way, it is Gods poetry in motion. Psalm 104:1-35.

The moon like the sun and earth, or man and woman are not objects to be worshiped and adored in polytheistic/atheistic poly-chemical fashion. That would be to rob God of His identity and the praise due to His great and holy Name. Why continue to look for love and life in all the wrong places? 1 John 2:15-17.
