Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Matt 5:17.

There are times when Jesus commands us not to think! And that is because we do lots of thinking and in our thinking we can easily make wrong assumptions about God, His Word and His world.

The Jews were thinking along political lines, the Romans were not that interested in religion as much as thinking about power and just about everybody had their finger in the pie regarding economics.

But Jesus has righteousness and God’s kingdom foremost in His heart and head and He will not be drawn away from that. That’s what we need to think about most of all. Matt 5:18-20.This radical, this teacher, this thinker, traveler and doer has attitude…godly attitude.

That man, the messiah, the loser, the God of all sorts (no patron saints required) who supposedly accomplished nothing on the cross has changed the face of western civilisation and it doesn't end there.
