The Bible doesn’t deny our individuality, in many respects it celebrates & defends it. It’s when you distort reality & deny the maker & giver of life that you run into problems. I know I get it, you have to be you…don’t we all. And God also has to be God because God is God.

You didn’t form yourself nor did man form God (although many have tried to get both those stories over the line - there’s that distortion thing again). Life is more than your borrowed lifespan or mine, more than the idolatry & adulterated data, more than our individualism. So why worship it like some kind of path to fulfilment or eternal & unchanging truth?

Isa 29:16. You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “You did not make me?” Can the pot say to the potter, “You know nothing?”
