Money Trails

& God's economy of scale...

In this part of the world things are becoming much more ‘user pays’. This is in contrast to a time not that long ago when society seemed to be more cohesive between rich & poor regarding taxes & public amenities & utilities.

But as usual, things change & nothing lasts forever, as they say. Maybe it was the global financial crisis, maybe things were heading that way anyway with the world becoming more globally cohesive thanks to fast transport & communications & big corporations growing their wealth & power with cheaper labour & tax illusions (abracadabra said the accountant with an abacus). So in many ways we live in the midst of business models & undoubtedly want to mix a bit of pleasure with all that. All work & no play can be boring & too much play won’t pay the bills, or will it?

Enter the prodigal son & a the quick fix…. Luke 15:11-12. If you have a dad like that good & well, if you don’t maybe a get rich quick scheme or some criminal activity will get you closer to the mark & the desire of your heart. But as usual, things change & nothing lasts forever, as they say. But are they right…Love never fails. 1 Cor 13:1-13
